I identified the Avoider Saboteur and began to not listen to those words of discouragement, "that I will just give up anyway, why bother trying, it will be too hard" As a result I now exercise, eat healthy do projects I've put off for so very long. I have stumbled, but I calm myself with PQ reps and I begin again -- that's success. I'm actually doing the living of my best life and not just thinking about living my best life. I'm eager to face the day and see what it brings me. I can handle it.
Before becoming involved with the program with Peg, I struggled daily with lack of trust in myself. I second guessed my decisions, I looked for hidden meaning and ulterior motives in those around me, I would try to please to the detriment of my own needs and I would avoid conflicts of any kind because I knew that self-loathing would follow. |
Learning where all these saboteurs came from and the skills we did, empowered me. I am on a continuous road of compassion for myself and others where I no longer have great fear.
